Virtual LAPP information sessions planned for UNA members: Two online sessions will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2025

United Nurses of Alberta will hold two online information sessions for members on the Local Authorities Pension Plan (LAPP) on Tuesday, April 15, from 12 noon to 1:30 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
 
The virtual seminars by UNA Labour Relations Officers Richard West and Carolyn Olson will be delivered via Zoom. They will include a description of the LAPP, and information on its value, participation rules, contributions, pension calculation, and retirement process.
 
In addition, the sessions will cover LAPP Disability and Canada Pension Plan Disability, the 2% matching supplement RRSP or TFSA provision in UNA’s Provincial Collective Agreement, and post-retirement benefit plans.
 
Members must register through UNA’s Data Management System (DMS) to participate.
